While working on my MFA in Graphic Design, I also explored my love of photography by diving into a couple of Digital Photography courses. They were a lot of fun and I learned a great deal. One of the first things I did in both classes was explore depth of field and motion. This set of four photographs I took while exploring DoF. While exploring a small park near Waneta and Lamoka Lakes in Upstate New York, I came across this wooden walkway bridge with a small covered roof over it. It was such an interesting discovery that I had to stop and take several photographs. I also wanted the texture of the wood to shine through, so I elected to go black and white with these images too.
