About This Project
This piece of art I created as a Christmas gift for my little brother in 2024. He's always been a huge fan of owls and, like me, he is a fan of all sorts of fantasy games, movies, TV shows, and so on. I decided to create something he could use as a desktop or iPad wallpaper to that end using the theme of massive owls converging on a castle. I wanted the overall feel of the image to come across as something you might find in a game like Dark Souls or something similar--that is, bleak while maintaining that fantastical allure. That's how I came up with this concept and why the image holds onto a fairly monochromatic color scheme.
