About This Project
This logo project came about as practice, primarily, for logo design and application. Using a client generator I found online, I used an amalgam of a couple brands that I liked and came up with the name "RecordPad" for this project. I am treating this company as a music recording studio and shop. With that in mind, I created a logo that would echo that concept.
The center shape is a musical note, which is then surrounded by a heavy black circle, representing and old-style record. Combining the two, and then pairing it with the type for the company name, this is what I came up with. I then applied the logo to a couple of pieces of stationary, such as business cards, envelopes, and letterhead, to provide a real-world feel for this logo design.
